722 goes WAPpy

10th June 2000
Report by AWO Hoole

722 Squadron's website now has a WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) section to it. This means that anybody with an internet phone will be able to access special sections of the site. To begin with, there are just news and diary sections, but more may be added as the need grows. The WAP site address is http://www.atc722sqn.org.uk/wap/index.wml

Additional, 20th June 2000:
After repeated attempts to access the WAP section of the site, I have been unable to access the site at the address above. I believe it to be a technical problem with the ISP's server. I am currently trying to negotiate the problem. In the meantime, the site should be accessible through http://www.free0021985.free4all.co.uk/atc/wap/index.wml
